Subject: Welcome to all Game Show lovers!

My name is Kevin Brant and I have personally been a game show lover for years, starting back in the days when shows of this type were referred to as "quiz shows."

The term "game show" is a more recent term which is now the preferred method of referring to these shows.

As far as I am concerned the terms can be used interchangeably.

If any of you wish to e-mail me at any time please free to do so. I am very flexible and give equal weight to both praise and criticism.

It is only after receiving feedback from you that I will be able to, over a period of time, hopefully make this one of the best and most-visited message boards devoted to this topic.

I have very few rules regarding this message board.

I want you to feel free to discuss ANYTHING relating to a specific game show (or shows) or to the topic of game shows in general.

And I am very EASY-GOING about what is allowed.

However, as you can understand, I cannot give a carte-blanche "anything goes" because there has to be SOME limitations.

But, rest assured, I will only remove a post if I feel there is a VERY VALID REASON for doing so. And you feel that if I have EVER remove one of your posts unfairly please e-mail me and I will be glad to discuss the matter privately and if your argument is persuasive enough you might even change my mind!

I don't want any of you to be shy about posting your views!
Please feel free to speak your mind, even on controversial matters. Disagreement is the hallmark of an effective discussion board because differing points of view can be very interesting.

However please refrain from personal attacks on individuals. That is NOT what this message board is about.

Also, please feel free to state comments and opinions about celebrities associated with game shows (hosts, panelists, etc.) but make sure that your comments are within what would normally be considered within ACCEPTABLE limits. It is fine to say that "So-and-So is a terrible host" (if that's how you feel) but it is NOT acceptable to make derogatory remarks about his or her sexual orientation or religious or ethnic background.

The other kind of post that would not be acceptable is one that has nothing to do with the purpose of this message board. A post about coin collecting would be fine on a "coin collecting" message board but would not be appropriate here, unless a future game show deals with coin
collecting or unless a flamboyant contestant on a game show happens to be a coin collector.

Posts with excessive profanity will be frowned upon. My suggestion is not to use it at all because this forum is for people of all ages. Any post which has any MAJOR profane words in the subject line will be immediately removed.

The bottom line is this:

I do NOT want to remove ANY posts and will only remove one if, in my view, it is inappropriate because of (but not limited to) any of the reasons stated above.

Please note that this message board has a "modify/approve" feature. This is VERY IMPORTANT. When you submit a message a page will come up which will display your message and allow you to modify it should you so desire. Whether or not you modify the message you must press "Send" again, otherwise it will not be posted.

If you have any questions about any statements here or any other suggestions for this forum please do not post them here but instead send me an e-mail.

Finally .....

If you are pleased with this forum, please let your friends know about it!

And you are in any way not pleased with it, please tell ME about it!

ENJOY!!!!!

Kevin
