I definitely would say that Match Game was right up there on the entertainment scale. A fun show that everyone could enjoy. And Rayburn was an absolute TREASURE.
Your comments about Dawson are right on the money. His apparent boredom has been noticed by many many others (to say the least) including Rayburn himself!
On one show he actually said to Dawson, "Richard, SMILE"!
