A moment of silence preceded the chestnut prince's next comments. He knew he could share openly with Elven without worries of treachery or deceit. Lowering his tone, fire-kissed brute indulged his sister with the gossip she wished to hear.

"Mom's getting fat. I'm assuming twins by the size of her, but she is definitely breeding." he offered matter-of-factly. His normally sleek, trim mother was rounding out. Only one good cause for that.

"As for the latter, I think I might be in love. You remember Takara, right? Euphoria and Zackari's daughter?" He paused momentarily, letting his tired mind dredge up the image of the pale painted filly. A genuine smile lit the normally somber stallion's features. Their relationship had come full circle from the days that Takara had vehemently defended Castaway til their time spent shut up in the Mythical lands. Forgetting to speak further, the bright prince's thoughts floated away in a haze dominated by the feisty lady.

Twins? Now this was news, and rather comforting news at that. There had been a rift between Tori and Shaz for some time now, torn apart as they were by duty. The twins would symbolize their reunion of sorts, a renewal of their pledge to each other. Rather romantic actually, if one thought with that frame of mind. And Takara? Yes, Takara was vaguely remembered somewhere in the dark cobwebbed recesses of the dame's mind. She opened her mouth to reply, but it was obvious that Hex was lost in thought. A saccharine smile adorned his sister's lips, at least her brother would not walk through life alone.
