...time passes like the scenery when you're driving 60mph down the highway--fast. sometimes you can get caught up in the moment and speed along like you're cruising with no worries, but sometimes you have to slow things down a bit and think about what you're doing. it was one of those overwhelming moments for the little buckskin stallion and he was resting in his own, dehydrated kind of nap where only the bare facts remained to be thought over without those watery details. oh yeah, and the trip had tuckered the fellow out, not to mention that he was dehydrated and sleep-deprived, but those were only minor facts. the big thing he was mulling over in this peculiar nap was how shiny the sun actually was, how sand was very grainy, and how something very loud and cold was hitting him in the face at a steady rhythm.

eventually the loud, cold thing woke the mustang up and he looked around in surprise. why was everything so shiny?!?!?! it was like Metalville where everything had a gleam or a blinking, bright light and it was driving him mental. he narrowed those large eyes and attempted to focus better, but all he saw were two very large and extremely bright objects nosing him...

Get away you varmints!

...he grunted, clearly frustrated with the thought of being poked by shiny deer. eww...how unsettling...

((ooc: pardon for the short post, but tons of hw now that we missed a week due to snow...*frazzled like her favorite pony, C*))

Unperturbed by his rather surly first words, the mare continued to favor him with loving nuzzles. ~*~C! Are you alright?~*~ she asked softly, adoring gaze fixed to his features. An ember of happiness glowed within her heart, sparked by Misty's arrival. It was good to have them all together again, under the weather though some of them may be.

ooc: sorry so short as well! i have to play catch up. GRRR
