i too have been to many stables, especially one in a camp one summer. i fell in love with a chestnut quarter horse. she is the sweetest thing. i convinced my parents to let me ride down there about every weekend to help around the stables (since they live 2 hours away from here). The lady that owns it once gave away a horse to a helper who fell in love with the arabian. and im hoping thats what will happen to me. they still arent into the whole idea so i need to convice them. Tell them your up to the challenge of buying a horse and paying for the monthly bills. that will let off a sensor that tells them your responsible enough to handle things. convince them that you can buy the food and all the extra little things that will make your horse the best it can be. you can do extra chores around the house scouring for some extra money. apply to them that within the first week you dont need the saddle and all the expensive stuff. tell them you can just walk it around and play with it a little. then they will have more time to see that you really love the horse and they will give you a chance! (:
