Passing of Jody Olarnick
My cousin Jody Olarnick passed away last week in Florida, she was 52. Don't know if anyone remembers her but she was a beautiful woman and I will miss her very much.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jody's passing. I do remember her from Canarsie. We went to High School together. What happened?

I knew Jody and Jan from 1540 E 102 Street. I also worked for Irving at Hatches on Staten Island. I was shocked to hear of this loss. My sympathies to the family.

We used to live on the same floor as the Olarnicks at 1540 East 102nd Street in Bayview. My condolencies to you and all her loved ones. Susan

My deepest condolences to all of Jody's friends & family. I just heard the news from one of her Canarsie High classmates and immediately went to my brother's 1980 Canarsie High School yearbook. I see Jody was listed as the SGO President. My brother, Daniel Pfeffer, on the next page was the SGO Vice President so I assume they knew each other back then (I am about 5 years younger). Danny passed away in 1991. I grew up in the building next to the Fish Park and now live in south Florida. Again, so sorry to hear this.
