Same here. I got out of Canarsie in '98 and currently live in Mill Basin. But I'm beginning to see the same early warning signs here which plagued Canarsie a decade ago (many houses are going on the market here, more than before).

I would REALLY like to see some crime statistics of Canarsie from both 1990 and 2000, so I can conpare it with NYC's stats on the whole. I think the results would be VERY telling.
