In a full page spread in the Sunday Times on 13th April 2003, Dr Rath Matthias informed the Singapore public in a health advisory that Vitamin C can protect us from the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome also known as SARS.

This has led to widespread purchases of Vitamin C islandwide. Just how efficacious are the different kinds of Vitamin C? What makes brand X different from brand Y and cost 20% less?
