60's & 70's CB Radio Nostalgia
How about the Lafayette Comstat series, 23, 23MKI, 23MKII. 25, 25A, 25B and the 35, they were great radios for the money. How About the Courier 23, 23+ or the Courier Royale or the Sonar Model G or H or the FS-23 or the FS-2340 or the FS-4023. The Lafayette HB-525 series of HB-625 or the HB-23 were great solid state mobile radios for their time and they built like tanks. The Lafayette HB-444 which was made by Polycomm was an excellent radio and is now a collector's item. Pearce Simpson made some decent radios too. The Pearce Simpson Guardian 23 was an American made tube radio built by Pearce Simmpson and it is now a collectors item. In 1969 Pearce Simpson came out with a whole new line of CBs named after cats Tiger 23, Cheetah SSB, Panther SSB, Cougar 23 and they were all made by "Uni Electronics Corp" otherwise known now as Uniden and they were very good solid radios. Uniden Corp was established in 1966 as "Uni Electronic Industrial Corp". I used to love the Turner Mics especially the old true blue +2 and later on the Plus Three and the Plus 3B (6 wire with black case). Today's CB radios and Mics are crappy.

Maybe $20-25 on Ebay If you're lucky. The original Comstat series from Lafayette were 23 channel tube radios built by Trio-Kenwood (for Lafayette) and they were very popular from the mid 60's to the mid 70's. The Comstat 525 is a basic 40 channel run of the mill mobile CB and it capitalizes on the popularity of the famous "Comstat" name. Don't invest highly into it.
