I hate when people compare her to Madonna. Here's why I say she's nothing like Madonna. Ok Madonna wasn't a marketing ploy, the entire concept of Brittany Spears and bubble gum pop,in general, is. Record companies want to create stars (weather ot not they can sing), and they set out to kind people who are going to fit the mold. I mean sure I know tons of guys my age who will say Brittany is hot but when it comes down to it it's the kids who are actually buying her cd's and going to concerts. Madonna and her music wasn't being marketed toward children. There weren't Madonna toys and Madonna dolls (like there were new kids toys, and Brittany barbie dolls). And most of the attention Madonna got was for the message of her songs (papa don't preach, just like a prayer...ect..). None of Brittany's songs say very much. And Madonna was all about shocking people. I mean what does Brittany do that really shocks anyone? She wears skimpy costumes, sometimes? Big deal? Who hasn't seen Brittany shaking her half nude butt? It's old already. I dunno, it 's just my opinion but I realy don't think we'll be hearing much from Brittany after her fans grow up a bit and see her music for what it really is. Because god only knows that girl can NOT sing. I mean the Backstreet boys are pretty much over with and I actually like some of their songs and they can sing. That's pretty cool about your cousin though Daphne...
