Having used to work in a book store and in charge of the paperback section, I never understood that either. I still don't understand it. I never switched them over from General Fiction because I explained to the managers that they didn't belong in the H section.

The only thin I could think of was the content matter. Largely incest. The only problem with that theory is that I had books in Gen Fic that they didn't consider Horror but there was incest in it. I certainly don't consider Andrews on the same lines as say S. King, B, Lumley, C. Barker.

Of course there are a few stores that are going completely to a one category store. Which means all of the fiction are together no matter if they are sci-fi, romance, or whatever. I don't entirely agree witht his either and now I will shut up because I am straying from the point...
