The Complete VC Andrews reports that the second book of the Willow series will be Wicked Forest, and that the e-book prequel will be available in early 2002. Since Willow is supposed to be released in Feb. 2002, does it seem a little weird that they would release the prequel so early? Isn't the point of a prequel to reveal hidden secrets and "wrap up" any of the unknowns? Does this mean all the De Beers family secrets will be revealed in Willow, and if so, who cares about sequels OR prequels? I suppose I should be looking forward to a full-length series, but after the Hudson series, I'm just not sure it'll be worth it.
