The winged thing giggles delightedly and claps it's hands. It then repeats the tune, more intricate then before.
The tune is passed back and forth between you, until it becomes clear that you have a particular advantage: Your instrument can play two or more notes at once. The winged thing can only sing one note at a time. Finally, it bows it's head in defeat. The surrounding winged things begin to clap and dance, singing to each other.

One walks up to you and holds out it's hands, asking to see your lute.
