Subject: There are the hints of a smell, something you can't quite define.

It smels warm, but somewhat metalic. The clearing is seeped in it, but the smell is strongest in a circle with a meter radius around the tree stump at the center.
Had you known what it was, you would have recognised it as the smell of Tinsel, and the smell of magic.
All that's left is to wait for the ring to grow.
