Hi Carol, I just checked back to this board and saw your post. Yes, The Frederick George Appleby and AMry Lovegrove married in 1922 in Abingdon are my grandparents. My grandfather was in the Royal Autralian Navy (Not sure why Australian) He was born in Hurley, Berkshire, late 1900's to Arthur John Apleby and Rose Hutton. He also was a mechanic in Ramsagate, Kent, wher my father Frank grew up.
