Subject: George Applebee-Minnesota/Wisconsin

ISO information on George Applebee b. abt 1839 in England. m. abt 1858 to Louisa Jane Sroufe. Parents believed to be William and Mary Applebee.

According to the 1900 and 1920 US census George came from England to America in 1847 with his parents. He was naturalized in 1900. This family settled in Houston Co. Minnesota and then in Vernon Co. Wisconsin.
