Greetings, I am hoping to contact the family of
a E.Ann Applebee who I believe lived in South Africa.She was the sister of my grandfather joseph Henry Applebee who arrived in Australia in the 1870's.The family was listed in the 1861 Census for East Donyland Essex #10 Joseph APPLEBY,Head,Mar,40,Navy,b.Ardley,ESS
Mary APPLEBY,Wife,Mar,25,Navy Wife,b.Cape of Good Hope. Joseph APPLEBY,Son,4,b. ?Cattoin Remb
E.Ann. APPLEBY,Dau, 1,B.East Donyland Ess.
My grandfather was writing to someone in South Africa perhaps it may have been his family.
As his mother was a native South African.
