(ref. c) -- Isabell (nee Appleby) NORRIS’ certified of death from Hennepin County, Minnesota.
(ref. d) -- Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, International Genealogy Index

Isabell Appleby and Alfred Baldwin NORRIS are my great-grandparents. I would like to learn more about my second great-parents: i.e. Isabell’s parents: Francis (Frank) Appleby, born c. 1823 in England, (ref. a & b) and Frank’s spouse ELIZABETH _?_ born c.1827 Scotland (ref. b & c).

Frank and Elizabeth are the parents of (1) Henrietta born a.1844, (2) Elizabeth, born .June 21 1846, (3) Isabella (Belle) APPLEBY, born: Oct 16 1847, (4) Eleanor M. (or Helen) born Sep 06 1849, per (ref. a). Reference (b) shows child (5) Albert F. as being born a.1853 in Maine, and (6) Charles M. born a.1867, Kentucky. My Great Grandmother Isabella Appleby died in Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota on January 09 1890, per (ref. c).

My research has found extracted data on a FRANCIS APPLEBY born Oct. 05, 1823 in Sunderland, Durham, England, a son of WILLIAM APPLEBY and wife MARY MACINTOSH in the IGI (ref. d). I personally "feel" confident that William and Mary are the parents of my Francis Appleby. But, I have no proof documents to link, or disprove that William and Mary’s son Francis Appleby born in England to the one who fathered four daughters in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, except for compatible dates of birth information between (ref. a) and (ref. b).

Is there anyone reading this query who could confirm or put to rest my suspicions and theories on the FRANCIS APPLEBY who’s parents are WILLIAM APPLEBY and MARY MACINTOSH? Even communication with any descendants of any of the above listed Appleby’s would a pleasure.
