William's brother John was my 4th greatgrandfather. I show William born about 1754. William was married first to Nannie McKeehan who was born about 1745 in Ireland. They had children as follows: Grace "Gressy", William, Elizabeth born about 1775 who married a Jackson, James born about 1777, Jane born about 1779, and John born about 1780. William then married Agnes Nancy McCurdy born about 1761 and they had children as follows: David born November 4, 1788, Samuel, Mary "Polly" born January 8, 1796, Rebecca, and Nancy. William came to U.S.A. around 1775 with two brothers, John and Alexander. My information says that William was born in County Antrim, Ulster, Northern Ireland. Since William is not my direct ancestor, I haven't done research on him. If you know anything about their history before coming to U.S.A. I would certainly be interested. William lived in Cumberland Co., PA and moved south some time after he married Agnes.
