GILMAN APPLEBY, Deer Island, NB CANADA -
I am looking for birthplace and parents of
Gilman Appleby.
Gilman Appleby was a soldier sent to St. Andrews, NB Canada to fight the US over the border of Maine (approx. 1839). The dispute was settled peacefully between the two countries.
Gilman Appleby married Frances Waycott and
they lived on Deer Island, NB Canada

Their children were:
Vera Appleby Corbett,born 1883 (my grandmother)
Percy Appleby
Frances Appleby Hillman (Lowell,MA USA)
Jack Appleby
Susan Appleby Cameron (Milltown,NB Canada)
Rex Appleby

Any information on any of these people would be very much appreciated.
