My great grandmother was Annie Elizabeth Appleby born 23 July 1861 at 9 Cavendish Street, London. Father, William George Appleby & Mother, Ann Pearson were married either in Ashton-under-Lyne in Lancashire in 1844 or in Northallerton in north Yorkshire in 1856. Annie married Albert John Topley in 1882 & their daughter Ellen migrated to Australia.
