Cure for rat bites:
needs:
fresh burdock root
a small pan
and 2 or 3 pieces of cloth

Using fresh burdock place ½ cup of burdock and 1 cup of water in the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes. Don't drain.
(note: if herb/water ratio may need adjusting if it does not produce proper mush substance)

Get a clean piece of cloth large enough to cover the bite wound(gauze, muslin, linen, or white cotton are best to use) and put it on a clean, flat surface. Pour the contents onto the cloth. put the poultice onto the rat bite(area should be cleaned!).Use a pin to keep it in place.
(you should wrap another piece of cloth around the poultice to keep it from tracking)
