The last movie I walked out on I can't even remember the name of it. It was awful, though. In the 80's, starring Emilio Estevez and his brother Charlie Sheen, they were garbage men or something? I could only take about 15 minutes of it.

I don't really go to movies much anymore. I wait till they come on pay-per-view and watch them in the comfort of my own home without having to pay a babysitter. I did the at-home equivalent of walking out on a movie with My Favorite Martian. My husband wanted to see it for nostalgic reasons. Even he gave up after about an hour.

Hey, did anyone watch The Real Eve on the history channel earlier in the week? Was that incredible, or what? I wish it had given more actual scientific detail, though, and less dramatization.

One more thing (besides hi everyone!), tonight on A&E at 9:00 eastern is : A special 2-hour look at the fascinating life of Dr. Kathy Reichs, one of only 55 forensic anthropologists in North America and the best-selling author of such crime novels as "Deadly Decisions", "Death du Jour", and "Deja Dead." Viewers will follow Dr. Reichs as she bounces between grim autopsies and glamorous book launches, and see an exhumation in Kansas, a mass grave in Guatemala, and a "body farm" in Tennessee. CC [NR]

Jackie got me hooked on Kathy Reichs books. If you haven't read any, give them a try. Nearly as good as Patricia Cornwell when she's on top of her game.
