The family did not get far, however, because they were attacked by a village. Her family was killed and she was captured. They forced her to learn their native tongue and made her a slave. One night she gathered up her courage and fled from the village. She, praise the Lord, escaped. Now she found a small gathering of villages and wonders if she may find life here better than the other village had provided her with. She looks as if she could be easily captured and made a slave, but this girl has a heart of gold and would be a good addition to any tribe.
