So much lay exposed and etched upon her features. It appeared that time had turned her bitter and shattered, both physically and emotionally [if that’s even possible LOL]. Pausing for an instant, Mereret considered conveying to Øthoe the misfortunes that had plagued her as of late, but came to the conclusion that he didn’t need to know that.
