Dude.. That ruled. I don't know how many of you missed the show, but Fiasco wrote a new song called "The Roxity", which he dedicated to Chuck and Sue. We all got a kick out of that. Well... At least from what I saw. I thought it was awesome, personally.
It was soooooooooooooo wonderful to see everyone again. There were people there I hadn't seen in over a year. And Maegan showed up too! I'm reeallly going to miss her. Even though it's wonderful the scene is still kicking, I really miss the way it used to be... I guess that's life though.
I didn't get to watch the Mortdom set, but I heard it was great. I was outside acting like a little social butterfly. But everyone went inside for 2 Headed Chang, of course. I don't know how many people were there, but it was just perfect. And the metal guys (and Kat and the other girl that was out there, rock on.) really made the pit nice. It was fun watching everyone ^.^ And the regulars standing in the back, doing their dancing.. You guys cracked me up!!
Keith got up and sang with 2 Headed Chang during one song (though the name escapes me--its the one where everyone goes "Drink, fight, fuck.") and I have to say, that was pretty freaking cool.
The one thing that wasn't cool, was the fact that some of these metal guys have really bad attitudes. I've never really hung out with a group like that before, because I don't get to many metal shows... But wow. I have to say I was surprised at some of the negativity that was going around. Upset me a bit, to say the least. But then again I'm used to these happy shows with everyone being all nice and friendly to each other (Sometimes at least :P) and respecting one another. Not that I have anything against the metal guys, but there's no reason you have to jump on people and cuss them out and start going ape on people for accidentily hitting you. lol, isn't that kind of what pits consist of...? Eh. I'm rambling.
Anyway, the show was great, and I'm looking forward to seeing the Battle of the Bands on the 4th. People, sign up and make it as good a night as it was tonight!
