Weeeelll ...

I may have posted here the odd tale about my going out dressed? After about four trips round secluded areas of town, I was getting a bit blase, and felt that I ought to try the bright lights of our (small) town centre. Apart from the challenge, most of our TG support groups recommend it for safety reasons ... So - I set myself the target of visiting my bank to draw out some cash. (OK, Sunday evening so ATM rather than cashier, but hey ...) No short skirt this time = slightly flaired, embroidered denims, a white vest over a black booster bra, topped off with a denim jacket, long honey wig tied in a ponytail, small brown purse, black 1" courts.
I wandered round the side streets for a bit plucking up courage, or perhaps letting my shoes persuade me to call it a day - all of the pairs I've tried walking any distance in seem to cripple me. :-(
Eventually headed for the main street - plenty of people about (quiet Sunday nights are a thing of the past) but no-one seemed to notice me. Approaching the bank, a guy in a small group heading the other way asked me for a light!!! I whispered "Sorry no" and no-one commented - guess they were all drunk.
Negotiated my way into the bank lobby (difficult - I don't wear my glasses when I'm dressed, trying to avoid anyone making the connection) and then used the machine OK. Suddenly realised that a guy had entered the lobby behind me - was he one of the group I'd just spoken to? Had I been read? Was he about to try it on with a lone female, for either s*x or my cash? Nope - I left, he didn't follow. Phew again.
Heading home, just about to exit the main street, when ...
... a couple walking the other way passed quite close, near enough for me to see that the girl was eyeing me up. After she'd passed, I heard her say "It's a man" !!!! Then a guy, either her partner or someone else, repeated the statement ... What could I do? Kept walking, didn't look back, got home without further challenge, collapsed, ...
So - of all the people I'd wlaked past dressed, it was one of the gentler(?) sex who made the first audible comment. NOT so nice ... and I haven't dared go out since ... :-(((
