Date Posted: 13:01:37 05/05/03 Mon today i got down to the barn and it was really early in the morning. I fed my horses hay then grain and turned them outside with their rainsheets on because it was raining. Then i started stalls. I out fresh shavings into all of the stalls and filled up alll of the water buckets to the top. When i was finished that i went upstairs to the hay loft and threw down some hay. I put the evning feed and hey into all off the horses stalls and turned in. then i took off all of the horses blankets and halters and went up to the house. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 18:08:44 04/30/03 Wed WE all went back down to the barn. All the horses needed alot of work. So we needed to lunge them all. Every horse we brought ouit we groomed them well and put there proper boots on them. I lunged Prince, Casper, Crisp and poco, and Marco for twenty minutes each. Jenn lunged Kiwi, Cosmo, Skip, and Cassie. Melissa lunged Sweetie, Chip, Splash, and Diamond. They were all worked hard and then walked out. Date Posted: 18:03:29 04/30/03 Wed My first day back in awhile. Everything was a mess! I gave all my horses hay and then their feed in both barns. Then i made the p.m feed for today. I went back out and put halters and light blankets on all my horses. Then turned all them out to their own paddocks. I went back in the barn i gutted EVERY stall in both barns it took me 5 hours. Then i filled them ALL with about 5 to 6 bags of fresh shavings. I cleaned and scrubbed the water buckets in both barn and rrefilled them all wit fresh cold water. Then i threw about 3 flakes of hay in every stall. I came back out and turned in all my horses. I took off there blankets and hung them up. I also took everyone halters off too. I put there feed in the stalls. Then made the am feed and put it in the feed room for tomorrow. Then i swept the barna nd went home. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
