I played some coop and also played some by myself with my little o Ice witch, and I had no problems. True, it was much tougher, and I had to compensate for not being able to ice kill everything, but overall it is still very possible to play alone. I would not suggest it for the weak at heart, but with a little bit of adaptation, luck, and a few more health pots then the old way, and it will work.

The big factor lays in the fact we all set up our characters to do "X" or "Y" and now, we must do a little of both. This being said, for those who aren't level 80 plus, you can compensate for the new changes with a few well placed skill points. (at least for the ice witch)

As for the "zon" family, I have yet to experiment with that but I will be watching and playing hard to try and work out best moves for them. I suggest we all drop back to our "main" characters (assuming this isn't a zon) for the time being till D2X hits and then start from there. It is not really worth trying to compensate now and then relearning once the D2X patch kicks in totally.

Anyone learning new tricks, please post them here and email me too if u can. I will be making a new webpage with some hints for transition to D2X soon. It will be a mess I am sure but together we can adapt and overcome and all have fun while we are at it! :)))

your friend in gaming,
Bjorn
