I think that alot of the people need to work on their cars instead of spending all their time posting their complaints on the message board. If you will think about the one time that Michael ran his A' car in the multi class last year he was definately able to compete on the same level.
That shows me that it is 99% car and driver. You can keep trying to make rules to slow down 10% of the cars, or work on trying to speed up the other 90%. I personally rolled across the scales between 820 lbs and 835 lbs depending on fuel load. Most of the people that are wanting to slow down the cars are the ones that need to be working on their cars.
We aren't racing in 1980 anymore that is why we buy different cars and upgrade regularly. Quit building and setting up cars the same way that you did in the 80's and you will be competitive.
Nobody will race any where other than at their home track, then they complain when they can't compete. Try going and racing the Race for life, or the $10,000 to win at Littlerock, and see if you are on the same level as the rest of the country.
All that you are doing is keeping people from wanting to come race at your track. How many cars are you going to get to come race if they have to buy a different wing just to race one or two races?
