The sterling arch of her sloping crest shook, her sliken hide ripled and tightened as she shook her head to free her vision of the raven tresses that obscured her line of sight. Her bottomless pools lit once more upon th' raven frame of the noble mascue, her expression softened, though only a little. Taking a moment to pick apart his words, she concluded that hewas not of her folk, and replied accordingly, her bittersweet melodies floating out on the gentle breeze, releasing no emotion, no feeling, only a single, almost earthen note.

Her words were blunt, to the point, almost clipped, but all was disguised under a cloak of sweet smoothness, an intoxicating sound she placed in her voice to obscure any shortness from her spoken words. Cocking a hind ankle in relxed relief, she didn't settle. Ready to flee or fight if the need arose. Here was a creature used to wandering the world alone, depending only on herself. Unbeknownst to her were the soft pleasentries of most herd life. She waited.
