Subject: how Lucky can you be?

My ex-husband owes $8,00.00 to the state of Fla,and $1,900.00 to me for child support.He moved without giving any information to the child support enforcement,which by the way is contempt of court,after the Judge orders apayroll deduction.He was free for 3 months before I was able to get his new residence "verified" enough to get a court hearing.I finally got my day in court and he was told to appear ,at 1:30 p.m., with $500.00 befroe the Judge.Well he didn't even come back to court that day,so they were going to issue a warrant for his arrest,with a full perge.The next morning he calls the child support enforcement and they negotiate that he can mail in $500.00 and they will put a stop on the warrant.This man can evade his child support for three months and not turn in any information that he has been ordered to turn in,miss a required court hearing,and still they take his word that he'll send the money? Everyone else in the court room that didn't have their money that day was arrested until they could get someone to come and pay the $500.00.Why do some people have all the luck? The father of my children has already been in trouble for grand theft,sexual molestation,and is still on probation,and now he gets yet,another chance to walk?
All child Support Enforcement can say is"We know where he is and if he doesn't pay it then,we'll have him arrested."If he would have come back to court,he would have been locked up,just like the others were,until his money arrived.So I guess if you obey the law,you are screwed,and if you disreguard the law,as long as you come back the day after,you'll get the top knotch treatment in the system of child support.What are they here for?To help the men?$500.00 doesn't hurt his pocket as much as 4 months out of 6 months that I had to do without the child support,while he was spending all his money on himself!!
