Subject: The Next Morning...

When he woke to the sight of her there, a rush of mixed emotions filtered through his blood, but most of all, fleeing came to mind. He eased his arm out from under her head, scribbled a note on the bedside table, left a wad of cash and the words "Lock the door when you leave. See you around, Fallon." Okay.. so he wasn't the most chivalrous guy, but right now he was experiencing some things that confused and bothered him.

She wasn't a early riser in the least, so the sun was bright when her eyes finally opened. Immediatly she felt the lack of warmth next to her, and with a sigh she slowly opened her eyes - preparing herself for him to be out and about already. She looked over, her eyes filling with the much hated tears at the sight of the money. She bit her lip as she read the note before she stood, dressing quickly. Slowly she picked up the money and ever so meticulously shredded the cash over his bed. Satisfied, she brushed the tears from her eyes - held her head high and walked out - leaving the door unlocked just out of spite. (NT) -- Diamond, 10:59:48 07/05/03 Sat
