He shook his head adamantly at that and swallowed a bit, his dark eyes narrowing as they wandered off to space, not focusing on any one thing but rather a thought. "No, it's alright that you brought him here. I just didn't realize that it's that... hard.. to see you with a baby.. to have one in the house." No, he hadn't expected for it to hit him like that, and he didn't anticipate a recurrence when the baby awoke - he would slip out of the house. He definitely wanted another baby but he wasn't quite ready to start thinking about it - he was definitely thinking that they, or at least he, would have to see some kind of psychologist about this whole grieving process.
