• He'd been attending to some day time business around the clubs - toying with them helped him fill up his days, made him feel important - he wasn't quite so in demand now as he had been when he was running drugs, and it almost wounded his pride. He let himself in quietly, expecting her to be taking a nap or doing yoga or something else equally quiet, but was surprised to find her at the bar. He set aside the briefcase he was carrying and the jacket he'd been wearing against the still-chilled spring air. "Hey baby.." • "Hey." She offered a slight smile, she never knew when he was going to be home or anything so she just kinda waited aorund. Talk about feeling put off. • She smirked a touch at his sweettalk before she rolled her eyes in response to his question. "I cleaned and then wandered aimlessly from one room to another." She let out a low breath, shrugging a bit again. "Sorry about that." Her hand reached up to help him unbutton a couple of the buttons to his shirt, fingers tracing over the beater beneath before she dropped her hands back to her lap. • She shrugged a touch, her brow furrowed as she let out a thoughtful breath. "I can just go make something." She murmured after a second - at least it would be something to do. She felt so useless and pointless sometimes, she just had nothing to do ever. She needed to get a hobby or start doing volunteer work or something. She stood up, her hand going to her lower back for a second - it had been a couple of days since he started hurting a bit - so began the next eight months. "What are you feeling like?" • He seated himself at the table so he could watch her go about the kitchen. Resting his elbow on the mahogany tabletop and his chin on his palm, he took her form in and shook his head. "I don't know.. don't care - whatever you want to make, darling." • Hopefully not step by step, but he seemed pretty convinced this is the way it would play out. A low breath escaped her lips as she tried to push away her grumpy thoughts, there was no sense in dwelling on this. Her brow furrowed a touch as she digged through the cupboards, before she found some rigatoni noodles and then some spaghetti sauce. Some meat was laid out for meatballs and she was all set to make some pasta for dinner. "Pasta, garlic bread and salad ok?" Easy to make and still pretty good, so she was all for it if he was ok with it. Her hand reached up, running through her long dark hair before she pulled it back with an elastic band. She pulled her hair down, before pulling it back up again, trying to rid herself of any bumps to no avail - her hair had to much damn body. • She hated to make him worry, it was like she wasn't making things bad enough for him as it was - now she couldn't even act happy enough to keep him happy. She thought over her answer before she shrugged her shoulders and pursed her lips. "I'm happy, just a little tired is all. First trimester is always a little draining." She shrugged a little again, her lip going between her teeth. • He let out another long breath - it was difficult to say what he had coming next without sounding completely offensive and really hurting her feelings. "Would you talk to a counsellor once a week? "I did the whole counseling thing after I got out of the hospital. They told me to some pills and now I can't take them anymore, I am sure thats all that fucking me up so how are they going to be able to help me?" She questioned, not really angry just frustrated. She just didn't want him to be unhappy and hell, at least it would be something for her to do to get out of his apartment for a little while. • She nodded against his chest, her cheek resting there. She wished he could save her from the demons that haunted her but there were so many of them that it seemed to be an impossible battle. She had physial marks on her body that just screamed of her demons - the scars on her arms from cutting up and shooting up, the scars on her chest and stomach from getting shot...she pushed away those thoughts though, as he spoke in answer to his question.
