which is not to say that I didn't enjoy the music on Buffy, but that I find Angel's score (at least post S4 of Buffy) to be superior.

On what grounds, just out of curiorsity. I'm not arguing against you, just as a former film scoring major in college, I'm curious as to how technical/functional you are talking or how much just I liked the music in this. Like, are you making a taste argument or a critical argument?
