The HBO film Recount (based on the 2000 Florida election tragedy) showing next weekend was written by Danny Strong (Jonathan), who is interviewed briefly in an HBO On-Demand segment.

Many years ago I did see a production of Whedon's Oliver North-hearings musical. A weird historical theme, a la six degrees of Kevin Bacon, seems to be developing.
