...but I forget the whole discussion that was had. I do know I asked that question once too on Cross and Stake or somewhere.

Of course things got more convoluted later on...Darla was Angel's 'sibling' and his sire...Connor was kind of Spike's 'uncle' and Dru's 'brother'...Dru was Angel's child and in a sense his 'grandchild'...it's hard to keep track lol
