Subject: Australian series H2O: Just Add Water

I case you missed it, check out the Australian TV series H2O: Just Add Water. It recently appeared on Netflix, and it was originally shown on Nickelodeon as well. It's a very lightweight teen high-school drama aimed at young teens(no sex/drugs/death), but with a fantasy twist: mysterious natural magic turns 3 girls into part-time mermaids. There are a lot of similarities with the early BtVS high school years, and although the tone always remains light, there's some symbolism that probably went over the heads of young teens. The series ends with a very deliberate homage to BtVS: the last episode of Season 3, in which the girls must risk their lives save the world, is called Graduation.
