Actually, I'm not really that surprised. Willow's ease back into the Scoobies is a sign that they were willing to give her a chance, due to their close relationship with her. Whereas with Spike or any other outsider, they would not have been so lenient. Yes, it might be hypocritical . . . but typical of humans.
