I think its widely said & worth considering, that Charisma getting pregnant (in real life) helped contribute to the fact that all ME writers went insane Angel S4.

(not really, my favorite episode/season is always the last one i watched and/or the one i'm currently watching.)

Kissing the Beast of Apocolypse of the Bible Book of Revelation? Probably wanted to give some indication that she might be EVIL.

Note: Cordy was not ever Jasmine, per se. Not really clear (to me) who Cordy was and when she wasn't Cordy. I read somewhere an argument that she stopped being Cordy (Jasmine influence started) when Skip first showed up and made her part Demon. (Angel episode "Birthday"). But that conflicts with the Pylea story arc. i.e. the visions, Groosalugg, Wolf/Ram/Hart books in Pylea, etc.
