Is there any (clearer) word on what is "Canon" or not?

i.e. Wikipedia says Buffy S8 comic line, makes previous "canon-approved" book Queen of the Slayers (Nancy Holden) and a new one about to come out or is already invalid. (Queen/Slayer has some similar items in the first parts, i.e. gives some cred that someone gave "canon" advice)...

How about the Faith prequel book "Go Ask Malice"...?

But I mean Angel graphic novels, etc...
