Part of the problem is that Dru herself can't distinguish between a hallucination and a genuine vision - some of what she says is nonsense, and some of it isn't. It's worth noting that Spike (who knows her better than anyone) seems to take her visions seriously, even though he recognizes her problem.

It's possible that Dru's visions involve a literal sixth sense - IOW they aren't visual,auditory, or anything else that the rest of us can relate to. In this case, describing them in plain English would be impossible, because plain English doesn't have the vocabulary. Dru's gibberish could be an attempt to convey in words somethings for which no words exist.

I think something similar may explain the cryptic nature of some of Buffy's Slayer dreams (little girls singing a nursery rhyme, for example). If the Slayer demon whatever-it-is doesn't perceive or think like a human, than it may
not be able to communicate like one.
