What's the state of play, if you'll pardon the pun, is Dr Who showing in the States and/or Canada? The previous reviews refer to the Cristopher Ecclestone series of Dr Who which as I said earlier didn't really grab me as much as this latest David Tennant incarnation, well regeneration.

Currently there's a truly scary plotline going on, not Event Horizon scary but still well above the level you'd expect from a TV series, particularly one shown at 7pm. I didn't actually see yesterday's episode as I was in the pub celebrating England's 1-0 victory over Paraguay in their first game of the World Cup. No problem really, it'll be repeated today and again later in the week on BBC3 though so I'll catch it once or twice before long.
