Subject: Veronica Mars and Buffy - two of a kind?

Hey all! It's been a while since I posted anything on here. I recently got into veronica Mars and it is now my favorite show. I have heard many compare it to Buffy and when I saw the first episode I was immediately reminded of Buffy. Then when Joss Whedon, Allison Hannigan, and Charisma Carpenter all appeared on the show, the connection seemed huge. Anyway, I love this both of these shows, and I was just wondering what thoughts other people have on this topic.
