It's not a question of sadly or not sadly. Some viewers get upset by that. Some viewers are indifferent.The show isn't called "Xander" and the writers have no particular obligation or requirement to use or not use him in any one way or another. Beyond, perhaps, whatever contractual obligations they have with NB.
