Insticktively she grabbed for the horse's mane and got a febal grip. SHe felt her self slipping as FOxFire came down. SHe quickly pushed herself forward and got a better hold of the mare's mane. Suddenly a plan popped into her head. She started to whisper quietly to the mare trying to calm her. WHen she came back to earth from another buck. SHe quickly slid off FoxFire and got ahold of her head. Gentaly but firmly she held on and said in a sweet but firm voice "Thats ehough FOxfire no more." She softend a bit and said sadly "I'm sorry I scared you. It looks like im screwin up left and right huh?" SHe was stroking the mare and kept talking to her assuring her that nothing was worng. Yet all the while she kept a firm grip so as to keep FoxFire from hurting herself or others. SHe suddenly sighed knowing that the mare deserved an explaination as to why she had been spooked. talking in the same voice she told the mare her stoy. How she had always loved horses yet how she had to run away from home because her parents were alcholics and they beat her. She told her about how the girls at school teased her for beeing so wild and being different from the rest, and she told the mare her life long dream of becoming a jockey and winning many races. SHe sighed again and tryed to hide the silent tears from the mare. She kissed her and said "I'm sorry im being a burden too you. But the only place i feel welcome is with horses.
