Date Posted: 14:51:01 04/16/05 Sat In reply to: Jamie 's message, ".:Out of this World:." on 13:27:54 04/16/05 Sat It was true, he had betrayed his own vow not to live in the conformity of one of the villages, but come one; a guy can only be alone for so long. having been residing quietly in the spacey loft of one of the abandoned warehouses,Dom had finally become accustomed to the feeling of having mud and rock enclosing his world. It gave him an odd sence of security, even though he still slept with his dagger in hand. his horses sold at auction and most of his personal belongings having been lost a long time ago, he sat shamlessly atop an up-turned water trough in the shade of his building. Who was here to see him anyway? The people still living in the village (he had counted maybe 3 at most) stayed put on the other side of the dust-filled place, hadn't yet ventured into the back-allies of his domain. He destractedly widdled away at the chunck of wood, which had the beginnings of a horse about it, and failed to notice the near-silent foot-falls of the woman untill she was beside him. Jumping almost vertically off the wooden trough, he let out a rough yelp of surprise as her shape invaded the corner of his vision; less then a few feet away. He was sitting against the corner of the building, she she had come up from behind. Failing to maintain the sturdy position of the trough, he and it promptly fell off to the side, landing and his back with a slight thump as his shoulders hit the packed sand. (heehee...this is my boredom for you) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
