Date Posted: 12:15:51 07/10/04 Sat Muscles straining under the shear akwarness of the two bales, Alec made his way unevenly down the aisle, stopping his progress only to adjust his grip -painfull as it was- on the twine that was quickly becoming his arch nemisis. Grunting with combined effort and relief, he set the bales rather ungracfully down infron the of the three stall he had procured for his mares. Smiling happily as he was greeted cheerfully from accross the aisle by another mare, he severed the two pieces of twine with a sadistic grin and reached into the first stall, pleasently empty as it's occupant was making alot of ruccus in the adjecent paddock. Grinning he filled up the hey-rack, packing much of the first bale into the metal holder. After he had checked the mare's water delivery system and chased a nasty-looking insect from the musty confindes, he swung upon the top of the dutch door which led the the mare's paddock. Shaking his head at the pugnant scent she was spreadting quite freely, he hesitated and unlatched the bottum of the door, giving a piercing whistle for the mare, whilst praying to numberous gads that she would come. He could not have her tantalizing the stallion population of Madras. 'Come on girl...get yout trin arse in here and let me sort you out.' He called to her whistling again as he retreatd into the deapths of her stall. Setting up the stall-guard as he exited her stall, he checked to make sure none of the barn's stallion were in, for that encounted would surly end in something painfull. Grinning at the robust anxiety of his mare he moved onto the next stall, where he dropped only a sigle flake of hay into the holder before opening the door and calling Apache in. Double checking both mares' stall guards (he had experieced a few dreadfull occaisions where the stall guard was not put on properly and he had had to spend a good chuck of daylight running after a terrible monster of a horse), he rattled the feed bin in Aurora's stall, hoping to tempt both mare's in with the offer of food.
