The femme had noticed he had loosened the lead as 'he backup, then walked forward,towards the sweet smelling treat in the mans hand, as she liped it out, then realized it may have been in her best interest to trust him, as she walked near and stood there awaitng him to take lead as she would follow him to a safer place, knowing he may have been a bit scared, and knew she would never trus another guy except Alec but knew if she didn't follow him, he would get nervous about her being loose, as she just followed him back to her paddock.
